A devoted psychiatrist, Dr. Wheeler is the Founder of Madison Psychiatry LLC in Madison, Indiana. She has 35+ years of experience in treating a broad range of mental and neuropsychiatric disorders in adults of all ages. She provides comprehensive evaluation & excellent treatment that includes psychotherapy and psychopharmacology with a high level of personalized care that is tailored to individual needs. Dr. Wheeler graduated with her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1978. She then went on to perform her medical internship, residency in psychiatry, and fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, completing her training in 1984. She stayed on at the educational venue, serving as an Assistant Professor until 1989 and returning to academic psychiatry as Associate Professor in 2004. A Life Member of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Wheeler is an active member of the Indiana Psychiatric Society and the American Association of Community Psychiatrists.
